Delegation of Outstanding Macao Higher Education Students to the European Union and UNESCO

Today, we took our visit to Bruges. The weather was so nice!  A short introductory talk was given by an officer in the College of Europe, and that was amazing and attractive!

In the morning, we continued our schedule in the EEAS. The topics include: 1. Erasmus+ and EU-China High Level People Dialogue. 2. European Economic Diplomacy. In the afternoon, we visited the European Parliament and that was impressed. Here are some photos to share:

We spent the whole day in the European External Action Service (EEAS), listening to a talk, then having a discussion with the speakers, whom are currently working in the EEAS. Topics include:  1. Functions and role of the European External Actions Service 2. Global Strategy for EU's Foreign and Security Policy 3. External dimension of Migration 4. EU-China, Hong Kong and Macao relations 5. EU-China cooperation on China greenhouse gas emission trading We enjoyed having a conversation time during lunch with the speakers! 

We arrived Brussels by the noon, and headed to the European School of Protocol for a workshop on International Protocol & Business Etiquette. It was really nice and practical!  In the evening, we took a short visit to the Macau Economic and Trade Delegation in Brussels (in European Union). Later, we had a wonderful dinner together with the officers.

On the third day morning, we visited the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris, getting to know more about its current strategies and programs. Shinny and Smart! We enjoyed having a workshop on Career Development Skills with some UNESCO interns from different countries. 

We spent our second day visiting some other scenic spots in Paris: the Orsay Museum,  the Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower.
